Good changing bag for twins?

Advice please!!!! My sister is having twins and she hasn't got a changing bag so I said I would get her one. I know it will need to be bigger than the usual, she also doesn't want one too patterned or flowery. I've had look online but just wondered if anyone had any recommendations?

I would think a rucksack. You don't want a one shoulder bag if you are carrying a child in each arm, and rucksacks tend to be roomier anyway. I have a friend who has a single pram and a sling and alternates which baby goes where rather than having massive double buggy, and rucksacks are brilliant if you are also carrying a baby in a sling. To be honest I just have a standard rucksack found specific changing bags a bit of a rip off.

Does she intend to breastfeed or bottle feed? I ask because bottle feeding she will need a bigger bag, breastfeeding not so much.

She's going to bottle feed, she's already got a 2yr old and didn't have a great time breast feeding last time so I think she's already decided to go straight to bottle. A few have got insulated bottle holders but unless I go for the ridiculously expensive, only one. The ones with two seem a bit smaller too. I thought a rucksack too, she def wants a 'real' changing bag though. I'll just have a search to find the biggest possible as she'll need to keep toddler stuff in it too!

I wouldn't go that big. I didn't have twins, but baby and one year old. Just chucked a few things in normal handbag. A heavy large bag for twins and toddler would be a nightmare
Also bottle holders pointless now as you aren't suppose to pre make milk and store hot out of fridge.
So you would be better buying a nice leather rucksack maybe, with a thermos flask she can take hot water out in to make bottles as needed.

Pacapod are lovely and some of them can be worn as a rucksack or as a bag depending on what you need at the time.

Rucksack all the way. You can get 'changing bag' rucksacks with lots of different sections. Or maybe cath kidston?

I am 36 weeks pregnant and have a toddler. I've ordered the Skiphop Grand Central after reading many reviews. It's big but I think it'll be perfect for 2 kids (I always carry a lot of stuff). It seems to tick a lot of boxes with the requirements you listed. I also saw Skiphop also does another bag which is especially designed for double buggies. Might be worth checking that one out too. Good luck in your search!

It's not so much that you need a bigger bag with twins, more something that's easier to carry leaving hands free.

Thanks everyone! I've had a look at the skiphops and quite like them but think I'll just get her to choose. I said about a rucksack but she thinks she'd be better with a shoulder one so want her to get one that will suit her best.

We have a rucksack and its great, hands free to look after babies. We paid a stupid amount of money on a Storksak one but just a normal one would do fine. DH is going to be SAHD and he prefers rucksack type

I used one from Amazon, cost £21.99, by a brand called Allis. It had a nice beigey pattern that up close had elephants and giraffes on it (I also have a 2 yr old). Just upgraded to a 35l rucksack now the DTs are nearly 1, as need even more space for all the snacks etc I have to take out with me!

I'd get a proper bag she can strap to her buggy. We have a rucksack now our daughters are two and walking a lot.

When they were tiny I would not have wanted to carry a rucksack all of the time - I was shattered enough as it is.

The Skip Hop Duo changing bag is good. Two insulated bottle holders and a third space in the middle (for my water bottle). Decent capacity and lots of pouches inside.

I got the Lassig twin one off amazon. Amazing. Double bottle thermal insulator - waterproof sections for food or dirty clothes. Lots of space for things. Loved it

If your budget allows for it get her the Ju Ju Be BFF - it can change between being a shoulder bag and a rucksack.
