Broody for multiples

Did anyone feel like they wanted multiples desperately before they had them? I've dreamt of it for years, I know there are risks and can't explain at all why I feel this way

Doubt I'll ever be fortunate enough but I think it's such a blessing.

I have 3 friends with twins. I think it would be amazing, but I've honestly never wanted it because l struggle sometimes with my two singletons (that are 5 years apart! )

There is something kind of magical about it though. Hope you get your twins

God no. Best of luck to anyone with multiples but DP and I were discussing yesterday how we can't fathom how anyone could actively want to have two babies at the same time! We struggle enough with one at a time.

I love both my children and cannot imagine my life without them but holy shit we've had a rough ride having twins. It's put both dh and I off having anymore dc.

You said multiples not twins.

There's twins on both sides of mine and DP's family, in fact in both sides of both sides if that makes sense. I waver between thinking that twins would be lovely, that twins would be horrifically difficult, and worrying that if we had an only the first time round we'd end up with triplets for the second!

I adore my twin boys but man alive am I glad at the end of every day when they're in bed!

I was never someone who wished for multiples but I am glad we have our twins.

My twin pregnancy was miserable and I hated that I couldn't take care of my older son properly during it.

Multiples are amazing but overwhelming so be careful what you wish for

I can't imagine life without them and I adore them but I would Most definitely not recommend having two at a time.

I'd always imagined having twins since I was a child, and I got them (DC 3 & 4)

I loved it, loved seeing how they interacted as babies and toddlers. They're 12 now and still lovely. (Mostly!)

When I was planning DC no.5 I thought it would be lovely to have twins again - but when I actually got pregnant I came to my senses! Luckily there was only one!
