Co-sleeper

Hi All
Im thinking of buying a co sleeper for my identical twins who are due in just under 5 weeks.

Has anyone got any recommendations or opinions on these?

The two I've been looking at the chicco next to me or arms reach (although this is double the price).

If anyone has used a co sleeper, how long did your twins stay in them for?

Thanks

We just used a cot with the side off. They stayed in it until 12 months (was a big cot!). They could both fit but I tended to rotate so one in cot and one in bed by the end of that. Was great in early days as I didn't want them in bed as they were preemies. There is a hack for an ikea one if you google it.

Great thanks for the tip, I'll look into that

I have 6 week old twins and have the babybay maxi co sleeper. It is excellent in my opinion. I bought it from Amazon Germany where it is so much cheaper than buying it in the UK. It works out to about £130 from Amazon de and £400 in the UK. Here is the link - www.amazon.de/babybay-maxi-160501-Matratze-naturwei%C3%9F/dp/B000OKPH6I

I've just bought the ikea gulliver cot so this weekend me, my husband and two year old son will assemble it and try and work out his best to make it into a co sleeper....

Are those co-sleepers smaller than regular cots?

My twins are 4mo and just won't fit comfortably in the same cot anymore (Ikea Gulliver) - too much wriggling and rolling and eye poking going on!

I'd say to go for something a bit bigger if you can because they grow so quickly.

Looks like the gulliver cot is bigger than a maxi co sleeper.

We've just assembled ours and I'm really happy with it. It was always going to be a temporary fix and still worked out cheaper than 2 Moses baskets. Once they grow out of it, I might just get another cot the same, I'm hoping this will coincide with them moving to their own room

We have the side off a cot bed and attached it to the bed with bungee cords, 4 months now and they are still side by side won't need to top and tail them for a while yet!

We have the chicco next 2 me however I only have one DD. she's 6months now and still has plenty of growing room but don't think you would comfortably fit 2 in. The actual co sleeper I really can't fault can lower one end to help with reflux heights adjustable to fit bed perfectly and is really easy to transport as breaks down and comes with its own carry case.
