Essential twin purchases?

Already have one dc so probably have most things that a singleton would need. Anything twin-specific that you couldn't live without?

A twin feeding pillow if you're planning on breastfeeding.

Grandparents.

A tumble dryer. 3 million muslin cloths.

A buggy you really like and is easy to use. You will use it every day!

more bibs than you could imagine using in a lifetime, bouncers. only 6 weeks in but they are my must haves for this week!

An insulated camping mug. And kitkats.

Car seat bases.

Decent bouncy chairs/jumperoo.

8 hands.

Tommee Tippee closer to nature perfect prep machine. Makes a bottle in 2 mins to the perfect temperature. No faffing about. Love it. They are pricey i guess. We had ours as a gift of MIL but could not live without it especially for the 3am feeds.

Decent bouncy chairs.

A feeding pillow. For whatever feeding method you choose - they're so handy for feeding both at once and the babies can be propped up in them after feeding.

At the moment, I'm finding a light projector good for distracting one twin whilst I deal with the other.

But the best thing of all was when my Mum came to stay for 2 weeks. I've a 20 month old as well so having another adult during the day was amazing.

My mum came to stay but I didn't like it lol. Essential for us is the travel system with click on seats. I never used one with my other two but now I'm driving for the school run twice a day it's crucial. A way to carry one/both is good. I use the moby with them both in around the house. I don't have a feeding pillow. I don't really understand how to use them.

Support seats for the bath so you can bath them together

Good double buggy - preferably a tandem do you an actually fit through doors - and one you can attach car seats to if possible

A Weego twin carrier, if you have poor sleepers. They get a bit too big for it by about 3-4 months but then you just sell it on on ebay. I think some of them get passed around for years like this!

My saviour when new was a feeding pillow and a water bottle, Im always thirsty! I got my pillow second hand as they wriggle around too much after about 6 months so hardly used.
My buggy has been wonderful I've got an out and about and can get in everywhere except my own front door. It also comes with inserts and was fine from new born.
Yes to bouncy chairs and other places to put them we got a lovely twin sized play mat.
Two bath chairs when they can sit up makes bath time more fun.
Also brilliant was having two cots from day one, we had one downstairs and one upstairs as they shared but the downstairs one was really useful as both of them and all Nappies, wipes etc fitted in one place and kept them off the floor away from their older sibling!
I swapped my baby bag for a back pack after about a month as it kept my hands free when out and about, as much as you think you won't carry them both around, you will!
