Hi all
Am 16 weeks pregnant with twins and for last week or so have had intense contraction lasting about 5-10 mins after going for a wee. Don't think it's a UTI as no other symp. Did anyone get Braxton hicks this early? It's my first pregnancy.

I didn't have one single Braxton Hicks contraction!

Sorry and congratulations!

Thanks!
Anyone else got anything useful to say on this? Wink

None here, either. See your midwife for a check-up.

I used to get bh from about ten weeks with both my pregnancies. Most people don't feel them this early, but I did. Get checked for uti anyway.

Hi lendi, congrats on the twins. What type are you having??? Get yourself checked for a uti and drink plenty of water as that can make a difference.

Georgie507 · 28/10/2014 20:50

I've been having them since about week 20, much earlier than with my singleton pregnancy!
