Good morning. I weighes myself today and I'm nearly 6lb away from my prepregnancy weight! :) And I've only been playing Ice Hockey and runs cycling around the block! Happy.

Busy day, today! :)

Hi Charliemouse Hi All
Mama, your dad is younger than my dh, and dh is 6 yrs younger than me! That really makes me feel oldBlush But good luck to him with the fostering idea.
Soks- hope the party goes well, but the thought of 50 screaming little girls makes me want to curl up in a corner and hide!Grin

Nearly finished Christmas present shopping now, just dh's to pick up, and something for neices and nephews, they are all aged 15-19, so difficult to buy for now, last year i got them each a watch, but have decided to get gift cards this year instead, I will get those High Street ones you can get at the Post Office.

Also sang in my last pre Christmas concert tonight, so finally will get the time to start decorations and putting uo the tree tomorrow.

Oops! Typo. 30 girls. But still...

We had a blast. Took biggest and bigger to see what the ladybird heard yesterday morning. Missed the start of the hour long show by half an hour! The theatre suggested we come back for the afternoon showing, so we did some shopping (how much did I spend in hotel chocolat!) and then back.

Whizzed home and threw stuff in car for sleepover (only got there an hour and a half late for me (half an hour after girls arrival time).

Girls went to bed around 10. Asleep mostly by 11. Inc biggest. I think she was one of the first asleep. But then dot baby had been awake and very loud from 11pm-4am the night before. I had a reasonable night's sleep. Managed best part of 6 hours up disturbed. Let everyone else get up in the night then did my bit from 6 :)

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend.

DH had to take the ABC quad today as A had a few night terrors and was exhausted and the twins were just refusing to walk so we had manuver the contraption which I love around cobbled markets and 4 different bloody hiking trails just to visit my cousin and drop off some stuff because DH thought the fresh air would be nice! It took an hour each freakin' way with multipke drops due to feeds and K walking so slow. I forgot to wear my walking boots so my feet are sore. Only to return home to find the HV on our step who I greeted in a lousy manner and proceeded to glare at for disturbing a sleeping Artie because she wanted to check her over and test reflexes (?) :( . I was not impressed. Such a lousy day but brightened up by being allowed to stay with Apollo overnight and do his nightly feeds. :)

Hi Mama, HV always seem to turn up at the wrong timeSmile
Trips, Shabs, I feel too old as well .Finally finished sorting out mums flat today, plus DBinL came and helpd DHclear most of the ruined conservatory of stuff ready for the builders to come end of January, plus finished putting up the outside decorations. Cooked and served lunch and finally sitting down watching polar express with a cup of tea, rice pud in oven ready for tea. Absolutley knakered now!

Even argued with the HV about baby products too. She thinks I should be using the Simple brand as it'd gentle on their skin but I refuse because of the amount of chemicals in the stuff so I showed her which I use (Organtic babies range) and she went off on one how it's an unknown brand and what may work on a babies may not be the same on a preemie's skin. So I full blown ranted, she legt quite frazzled and DH just found it hilarious.

Been quite over here. Dad took the kids swimming with my cousin and then to a safari park. DH and I lazied at the hospital haha.

Oh, Trips! Would like my sock full of pennies to hit him with?!

A-team had their first fight today. Artie tried headbutting and face whacking while Apollo thought screaming in her ear and niping her would be perfect payback. Funny to watch but two crying twins just before quiet time was not. When he comes off CPAP Artie will be allowed to crib sharr with him :)

More steriods for Apollo and more bloody tears from me. Another arrest but after a few touches to his stomach he was back full force. He was one really light sleeper - a nurse nearby sneezed, he startled awake and had a full on tantrum. Both twins fell asleep on me Artie accidently hits him and he wakes and has another tantrum. Doesn't help that the light still hurts his eyes either.

I'm dying for some sleep!

Oh Mama so very stressful for you, hope you get so much needed sleep tonight.
I am cream crackered, spent 2 days decorating the house, little to no help. Kids come home from school and one eventually says "oh I see you`ve put some lights up!"

Morning ladies.

Oh mama! Hope you get some rest.

Put the tree up Sunday afternoon. The bigs had great fun decorating it. I've lost a whole bag of baubles and the tinsel so we made do with the big baubles I don't normally use (came free with the tree), two sets of lights and the more delicate ones which are stored separately. It came together surprisingly well. Better still, it's still standing! Dot baby has only tried to explore it once, and I think they were actually after the pine cones accidentally left underneath.

Off to bed! Yay! DH is home with the kids and I have just got both Artie & Apollo off to sleep. We tried latching Apollo today, bit fiddly and tricky with CPAP but after taking our time he finally latched and drank at 4pm for his first official feed. He took to it so much quicker than Artie, it took her days to actually have a feed, he just latched and fed within a day! So now I have to wake up to feed both for the first time tonight :)

Anyone got any spare wood? Looks like I will need to build an ark here by the end of the day - the rain is bouncing down and, according to the weather forecast, it will be like this for the entire day!!!

Sounds horrendous Shabs! It's just frosty here and a little windy.

I feel like the walking dead. I haven't felt like this since Kvothe was a newborn. Artie woke 3 times last night, Apollo woke every hour and every time he needed nursing. The nurses were great and really helpful but had to tell them to bugger off and that I'll call them if I need them when they kept hovering. Still gutted I can't take him home soon.
