They will be born at 36 weeks. My consultant has said that they will be induced if twin 1 is head down but wondering whether to ask for a cs anyway? What would you do?

Mine were induced just before 38 weeks - ended up having CS as one twin showed signs of distress. I'm not sure if I'd have done it differently though - without hindsight you don't know how it will go and there are benefits to natural (ish) delivery. I found I was closely monitored so was whisked off quick for CS when needed, I'm sure with twins this happens more often. Good luck with your decision.

I am having dcda twins so not sure how this differs but I have been told I will be induced for natural delivery as twin 1 is head down. I said I wanted an elcs but my trust do not do elcs without medical need. So twin 1 would need to be breach or other factors before I would be allowed elcs.
I know they will monitor my labour more closely and I will be assigned a dedicated midwife. I am going back to the hospital on Monday to discuss mode of delivery with the consultant, again.

Good luck and I hope you get the birth experience you want.
