Hi. I'm 12 weeks with twins and just wondering when I might expect to feel them moving, compared to single pregnancy.
When did you all first feel them?

Congratulations :)

I could feeling tingling and popping sensations from about 12 weeks, thought I was imagining it but they got stronger and stronger as the weeks went by.

I had anterior placenta and didn't feel anything until 19 weeks.

KnackeredCow · 11/07/2013 16:30

One placenta was anterior for me too. Felt them for the first time at 20+1. The day after the sonographer doing my 20 week scan said: "you should start feeling them any day now". Grin

Nothing until about 17 weeks.

HappyAsASandboy · 11/07/2013 17:07

At about 22 weeks for me. Both placentas were anterior.

I felt my singleton at around 18 weeks but my twins at 14. Not sure if I noticed it earlier as I knew how it felt second time around.

Thanks everyone. Hadn't thought about the fact there's 2 placentas in there (it's hard enough getting my head around there being 2 babies) !!

I felt them first at about 14/15 weeks, just little flutterings at first but now getting soft kicks at 20+3 Smile I have no idea where their placentas are though, no one has ever said so I guess they aren't anterior, will ask at my scan on Friday.

Linguaphile · 15/07/2013 18:41

17 weeks for me.

Franykins · 23/07/2013 09:37

The sonographer said both my placentas are posterior so guess that's why I felt them earlier. This morning, at 21+3 I had a hard kick this morning that made me jump, cue strange look from DP, when I said one of the babies kicked me hard he just smiled.

I think I can feel them around about now - 17 weeks
