My friend found out she is pregnant and she is wondering if she will have twins...her boyfriend is a twin, boyfriend's dad is a twin and boyfriend's granny is a twin...

As far as I know, the fact that twins are in her bf's family is completely irrelevant. Fraternal twins run down the mother's line because it requires her to ovulate twice (the bloke always sends loads of sperm) and identical twins are just a random occurrence, not hereditary.

My Work colleague was told by the Midwife she had a 96% Chance of twins

That's really interesting, I do actually know of a family with 2 sets of ID twins. I always just thought they had both got lucky.
