Do you sing one version with 2 names or 2 separate ones and if so who goes first? They're only 1 this year but still....

Ah I didnt think about it till half way through the song and then some people sung one name and some sung the other. It was a bit like Jedward iyswim. My DTs are 2 so are still too young to notice, but I did think to myself that I would have to plan it better next year.

You could do two cakes so could always do two songs......but then who would go first.......

Or do both cakes at the same time and one song with both names - we always say DT2 name then DT1 in everyday situations as it just roles off the toungue.

I think when thay are old enought to notice they will be old enough to tell you how they prefer for it to be done . So just do what works best for you on the day.

I think we'll be doing one song with both names, but I expect when they're older we'll have two songs and probably two cakes! The 'oldest' would go first - because it's the easiest way to do it and they can't argue although technically as mine are identical they are exactly the same age but I'm not going to let them into that secret quite yet
