Hi all, I bet I asked this before but...

any of you baby wearing post 4 months, and if so what do you use? I've got a Weego and it's been great but their little legs get in the way of each other now and to be honest it needs an extra back strap to really be comfortable... my girls are now combined weight over 11kgs so I really feel it!

As well as being interested in what products you're using I'm also interested in opinions about how useful it is to baby-wear post 4 months. I wore these guys through all the difficult 5-8 week period and still wear them in the late afternoon when they get grumpy and I can't settle them both to sleep in their carricots. The last week or so the late afternoon grumpiness has reduced a bit and I'm wondering if it might just go away more or less - they're 3 and a half months old now. What do you think?

Hi
I have 8.5 mo twins ans I only wear one of them at once. We have two carriers, one for me and one for DH. I think it would be possible to carry one on back and one on front. There is a video on YouTube with an amazing mum of triplets and an older Dd who tandem carries and says it can be done with Beco Gemini, butterfly or one of each

I have put one on my back and just held other in my arms if I need to walk a short distance eg when we went to a children's concert where could not take pram in, but I wouldn't want to do that outside. The other problem with tandem carrying for anything other than short journies is that there is nowhere to put changing bag (unless you plan to do as the triplet mum and push a buggy too)

I just wear them about the house ceebeegee, as a way to cuddle both at once - at 8.5 months are they over that thing where they both cry and need a cuddle?

I have down with newborn and 20 month old when needed

Used a baby ktan and a beco Gemini

I would suggest getting x2 beco geminis as they can be worn on front or back. So you probably could carry one on front and back at same time if needed. I would mainly carry one and push one though or two people can carry one each when spare hands

After 4 month ish they do calm down a lot also. So should be less times both need carrying in house. Beco Gemini also good when they get heavier if you hae lots of stairs as can carry one on back and then just hold the other to save your back up and down stairs

Have a look on YouTube on those combinations

Mine have never really been cuddly babies- they seem to prefer bouncy chairs or being on the floor- I just use the slings just to carry them for practical reasons!

Damn ceebeegee, I wish I could say the same... cuddles are lovely but not when there's two babies and one beyoglu!

forever, thanks for the tip, I'll take a look.
