Those of you with older twins I was wondering whether you would be able to give me any advice? My two girls are 3 1/2, H is more emotionally mature then C and because of this seems to have older friends - ie children who are due to start school this September whereas C's friends are the same age/younger than her. this has become a problem, as a friend's daughter has really taken to H, they call each other 'best friends' etc which is sweet but she doesn't like to include C at all.

I am completely happy that they have their own friends but if the three of them are together which can happen frequently as they go to the same pre-school and I'm friend's with her mum. my friend's daughter and H are quite nasty to Charlotte - Harry is now saying things like Charlotte is naughty, she doesn't like her playing with her - when my friend's daughter is here and has said to me that it's this girl who is saying (basically i think repeating my friend's opinion :( as she finds C quite difficult - she's certainly more lively then my other children)- of course when it's just my 2 at home the two of them are thick as thieves. I can't say anything to my friend as she is very sensitive about her children.

How can I tackle this so that C isn't on the sidelines again - thanks for your help - sorry it's so long!

I haven't got twins, but 3 is never a good number - if it was your house I would invite a friend around for Charlotte, so that you have 4,and if it the friend's house let Harry go alone while you do something with Charlotte.

I do have 2 children close in age so it was a similar problem.
