Hi ceeveebee thanks for your helpful reply.
I think I have missed the boat a little as my twins are now 5 and at full time school. The time flew by so fast!
I also had a three year old when they were born so for a long time found it hard to get out and meet other mums.
I did go to quite a lot of playgroups but as I had three little ones with me, I found again and again, that all I did start lots of good conversations but then simply be too busy tending my three to ever talk longer than 5 mins with anyone!
One playgroup I went to once I changed one nappy, took DD to toilet, then changed 2nd DT nappy then came out and realised it was almost time to leave ! And I saw my friend there, who did not realise I had come that day!!
My eldest started at a school nursery free place in the afternoon session when she was three, but unfortunately she came out at 3:15 every day. This meant I could not really mangage to go to my local twins club as they met 2 til 4.
I did try but mostly it was not worth getting there, unloading 2 bubs on to the floor to play then trying to leave 45 minutes later.
That is very kind of you to invite me to your regular meet-ups, I may take you up on it. I personally found it such a blur the last 5 years with my twins. I did not have any relatives to help, so it was pretty full on!
Its only now I have a bit of space to breathe, and I'm thinking I love talking about twinny-type stuff, meeting other twin mums so I started this thread!!
I did know one lovely twin mum, but later on she moved abroad, sadly.
