Shock
ICanTuckMyBoobsInMyPockets · 11/06/2012 23:05

Sorry, that's all I could muster. I am speechless by all those twins, especially all yours!

I have not a single word of advice as have no experience, but huge congratulations on your pregnancy.

Oh, and another Shock for good measure Grin

justonemorethread · 11/06/2012 23:09

Wow. Not sure if to congratulate or if you're in state of shock... Maybe you should get a reality tv show on board!
Congratulations! I truly believe none if us are sent anything we can't cope with. Sounds like your children will grow up in a very special family - lucky them!

lovelivelaugh · 12/06/2012 00:00

Thanks everyone. And yea a definite state if shock. But can not contain my excitement at the same time. I just hope for girls to even it out a little lol.

Do any of your have twins? I think twins are easier don't you?

Lovelivelaugh - wow!!

7 babies, 6 of them twins - amazing but slightly daunting at the same time! Congratulations - it's very exciting.

I have 8 month old twin girls and an older ds too - I can't say this stage is particularly easy but Hoping the toddler stage will be when they can play together etc.

5madthings · 12/06/2012 10:19

bloody hell, congratulations! :)

twins run in my family my great gran had 3 sets of twins, two non identical, one identical :) i have 5, no twins tho, they did scan me very carefully to check as non identical twins have a tendency to be genetic.

congratulations and hope you have a smooth pregnancy and all goes well :)

lovelivelaugh · 12/06/2012 15:44

I think I'm quiet lucky as I have never had morning sickness EVER!! My feet are starting to swell now but that's it really. I've had both sets of twins 2 weeks early so I think this one might be the same. They could only tell me that one of them was a girl yesterday. What do you think of the names

If a boy and girl:: Timothy and helen

If 2 girls:: Helen and Hannah

We have a
Zarah
Matthew
Jonathan
Richard
Michael

no morning sickness! wow i didnt throw up with my pregnancies and wasnt too sick for the first four but for no 5 i felt sick the whole 9mths,she is my only girl tho, the first 4 were boys so maybe that was why?

like Timothy, the only Helens i know are adult women, so its certainly no a popular name at the moment which is always good! Hannah is lovely as well.

if you are looking for names beginning with H what about Heather? again not massively popular at the moment?

you seem to like traditional, slightly old fashioned names?

lovelivelaugh · 12/06/2012 17:35

Yea never had morning sickness just really strange cravings like banana and mustard butties, ice cream and ketchup, and chicken and chocolate just to name a few

Yea were do like traditional names considering were both on 24 were not set on a letter but just want something nice my mum has just suggested Michelle and Michael or Michelle and Diane

I just don't no lol

My granny was a g/b twin, and had g/g and b/b siblings, along with 6 other siblings. One of the singletons went on to have 2 daughters, both of which had twins (b/b and b/g). I have had b/b twins. All are non id.

Not quite as many as your family, but there are certainly a twin streak in our family

izzybizzybuzzybees · 12/06/2012 17:59

WOW! You said upthread the names of your children including michael but then suggest that as a name for one of your current twins?!

lovelivelaugh · 12/06/2012 18:26

I meant to write Mitch but I'm using my mobile and it has predictive text and obviously changed and I didn't notice

izzybizzybuzzybees · 12/06/2012 19:10

Ah that makes more sense :) I thought maybe a 3rd twin pregnancy had given you massive baby brain and maybe you thought 2 michaels was a good idea Grin

harrygracejessica · 12/06/2012 19:18

I have 2 sets of twins and a singleton - the only reason I would want to get pregnant again would be to see if it was twins again lol

There are no twins in the family and I have identical girls and non identical boys :-)

lovelivelaugh · 12/06/2012 19:50

No no one Micheal is enough lol..... i would have more after these twins but I do t think we have the room we are rapidly running out of space and we have a 6 bed room house lol.

Wow, you weren't joking in your post title!! Shock That is a lot of twins. Congratulations Grin

ChopstheDuck · 15/06/2012 15:59

wow, amazing!

I thought our family history was strong! I think dd will def end up with twins, she is a twin, her dad was a twin, and both his parents were twins.

ChopstheDuck · 15/06/2012 16:00

hang on, no dd isnt a twin, she has twin siblings! losing the plot.

Though it was wondered about a bit, because i had a heavy bleed in early pg, and they thought I had lost one.

bellabelly · 19/06/2012 22:15

CONGRATULATIONS! And...WOW! I have two sets of twins myself and think you maybe deserve some sort of medal.... Grin
