Twin push chair to fit maxi cosi cabrio fix car seat

Hi, I'm having twins in October and would like to use DS's old maxi cosi and buy another MC car seat to save money. I really want the option to attach the car seats to a buggy - its so much easier when you're just nipping out and also DS hated going out lying flat in his carry cot when he was tiny. I know they can't stay in car seats for too long but think this will really help me get out of the house even if its just for a half hour stroll. I'd like an inline one if possible as I already have a tandem mountain buggy for when they're a bit older (unfortunately this won't take car seats as its an old model I got 2nd hand. Thanks

I had First Wheels City Twin which is side by side and takes maxi cosi car seats. I must say I felt it was quite big and hard to get in and out of some shops. I'm sure there are more now that take maxi cosi but not sure of the names. Try bestbuggy.co.uk. Hope this helps.

The icandy, the Phil & Teds Promenade will take one car seat. Ummm, the BJCS. Drawing a blank on others.

I was going to say baby jogger city select too, but I'd personally go for the city mini double, I LOVE mine

I went for the Baby Jogger City Mini following the First Wheels and love it!! So easy to get about and easy to fold, I think the new one might takes car seats aswell :)

Oooops didn't read previous post, agree with DreamingOfPeace, BJCM is great.

2011 models and later take car seats and carry cots. I don't do either, but that's just me. Mine are 6 weeks old and sleep well in it. Even though your other buggy is side by side I'd still get it as its so lightweight and easy to chuck in the car etc

Thanks, there are carrycots with the mountain buggy, hopefully they won't be like DS and won't mind lying flat so much. I've done a bit of digging and looks like the BJCM only takes a single car seat. Ah well....
