hi,

im preg with baby3 and have strong suspicions (trying to get a scan for next week arranged)that it jsut feels so diff.

i am 8wks, most of my 'fitted' clothes are tight and maternity stuff is soo much nicer! sure ive felt some 'movements' but prob wind or something. i was sick with both ds's but not with this at all. having awful stomach cramps and back ache.

anyone help with tihs?

I was big very quick with the twins.

found out at 6 weeks i was expecting 2

movement too was much sooner but when theres 2 in the oven less room to move and more kicking mummy

Carly I looked full term from about 4 1/2 months on. I wasn't physically sick but for the first few weeks I could barely eat anything but tuna and banana on toast.

I got an early scan due to a previous ectopic so found out at 8 weeks and was so surprised at how much detail there was already. So maybe you are expecting baby 3 and 4.

It could mean it's a girl, as it feels so different to your other pregnancies, my sisters 4 th pregnancie was very different to her others and she got big very quickly, turned out she was having her first boy.

me too custy. I could only eat pasteurised Brie and drink Guiness lol.

Can't believe how skinny I got and then how fat I got afterwards. Gutted of N London.

I was as sick as a dog until 18 weeks and lost a stone. Wish I could go back to those days - sob.

I was also very sick, when I hadn't really been sick at all during two prev pregnancies, jsut felt queasy before. I didn't show earlier, got a bit of a stomach, but then stayed that way for a while then ballooned later. I felt movements waay earlier though, and knew it was twins when I felt kicks all over the place at the same time. Good luck!

Me too. God I was sooo ill A nurse said to me at the time could it be twins? and I laughed it off. Boy, was I ever in for a shock
A nice one of course.

Lost loads of weight, but yes it all came back eventually along with my appetite.

Are twins in your family Carly?

my dad had twin brothers.

not sure whats happening now as i went for a scan on friday (nrly 8wks) and they said i was only measuring 6wks and no heartbeat, jsut sac and yolk sac. so who knows.

thanks for all yor comments though.

carly - I had this in my last pregnancy. I went back a week later and they were able to find the baby when all they could see at first was a sac. Are they doing the comparative blood tests (to see if the things they're testing for are multilying at the correct rate)?

going back fri. the done hormone bloods and said things were nice and high. so presume thats ok. fingers crossed itll be fine. im huge and in mat clothes, so im hopnig its not all choc!!!

Hey i'm 13 wks pregnant with identical twins, i went 4 a nucalar tranlustate scan yesterday n i found out i was having triplets but i miscarried one of them 5 wks ago and no one picked it up. this was my 4 scan... can anyone help i feel numb just don't know how to feel .

Oh God room4two that is so hard for you to be going through as well as a pregnancy. I had an ectopic, before having dts a couple of years later so I know how devastating it can be.

Do what I didn't but wish to god that I had - get counselling, just someone else to talk to about it. Please go, I so wish I had someone to talk to about the baby I lost but you need to keep in there for those two gorgeous bubs on the way. And will you tell them there should have been 3?

R42, thats really tough honey, you must feel all confused, its hard enough getting your head around the multiple birth thing let alone this as well. I'm so sorry this has happened to you and wish you well.

Come on and chat as much as possible. The "D'you ever wonder how life got like this" thread is visited quite regularly by all those multiple mums needing to lighten the load and its usually me! I don't know of anyone on here thats had similar but I know there are a few mums who've lost one of their twins. Even try posting a new thread on the miscarriage section, it always good to exchange with someone who knows exactly how you're feeling.

I wish you tons of luck and keep posting.
