...When juggling kids, family, home, school and work?
I know, I know, feeble effort, but I really don't know where my year has gone! Its towards the end of February now, past half term for most of us, and I don't even seem to have blinked!
We were celebrating DH's birthday today, and I'm sure he had his last one only a couple of months ago, or thats how it seems to me.
As for the years since my 2 were born, well, they seem to have gone in a blink of an eye.

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha that sounds just like a Nerfless Lew!! xx He just told me Daddy said he was not allowed to shoot them near anyones face....just the legs and boys conkers (testicles) so he is not a violent thug at all Hmm

Charleymouse · 05/04/2012 12:02

Aaaaaargh, G had 2 NERF for his birthday. Plus a sword or two.

Chopstheduck · 05/04/2012 12:07

Mine keep begging me for Nerf guns. So far I've said no, but ds1 really, really wants one!

I didn't let them cos we've already got something similar that fires foam discs. It got played with once or twice then forgotten. Reading this, I'm wondering now if maybe Nerf would have a little more play value. Tho, they'd prob use the rabbits as target practice!

I had to call them in this morning because they were throwing small balls at sooty because it mad her thump. Err, yes, that means she is telling u to Feck OFF already! Hmm

shabbapinkfrog · 05/04/2012 12:07

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha I feel your pain Charley - both emotionally and physically!!

shabbapinkfrog · 05/04/2012 12:08

They are great - its just when he bursts in through my door just before 7am 'armed to the teeth' and thinking he is Action Man!!

bubby64 · 05/04/2012 14:15

My 2 are getting another one each for Easter instead of chocolate, as they are 1/2 price in Argos at the moment. This will mean they have 2 machine gun types and a pistol type each!Shock Mind you, I must admit they do have good play value around here, where we have an almost continual running nerf battle seeming to go on with a large group of the neighbouring kids, this only stops on really warm days, when they swap nerf guns for super soakers!![Hmm

They do have rules to abide by tho, they are not allowed to shoot anyone who has not got a nerf gun, they are not allowed to deliberately shoot in the face, and they are certainly not allowed to modify the darts- some unscrupulous people have put on YouTube how to add bb pellets and other heavier items into the darts, which can make them really dangerous.Sad

Bonsoir.............soon back to normal here, spent the whole day getting the boys ready for their DOE w/end, God knows how they are going to carry everything, a 60 litre rucksack packed to the gunnels on their skinny shoulders, I am worrying about them already.......theyll be fine, theyll be fine..............

Ladies..........we are going to have to replace our beloved 16yr old Ford Galaxy, the max we can raise to buy one is going to be around £7k. I have been looking around and there is no way we can get another one, even a 5yr old Galxy is going for around £11k. We like the Cit Grand Picasso, but cheapest we have seen again is around £9k. Looked at a Zafira, but they just seemed so inferior after the Galaxy. I wondered if we could now get away with a saloon, trouble is we are pretty much going to be restricted to UK hols and we take so much stff with us, need space. What have you all got?

triplets · 06/04/2012 22:28

Sorry Chops, hope you are feeling alot better, how many out? Teeth are real pain........poor you xx

Morning girls, up since 6am to get my boys off, silly but I`m worrying already about them. They are so skinny and have got to carry a heavy 60 litre rucksack and walk along the cliffs from Dover to Deal and its raining........tried not to let them see how anxious I feel as they are sooo excited!

shabbapinkfrog · 07/04/2012 09:03

Morning girls xx

Chopstheduck · 07/04/2012 09:36

I've got the Picasso. It's ok, but lots of niggly things going wrong on it - windscreen washer not working, bits of trim falling off it, prone to accelerate by itself, or slip out of gear. I don't think I'd want to buy a used one. I do like the s max.

4 molars from the bottom, two wisdom teeth (that weren't even erupted yet) and a complete clear out at the top. Not quite sure how many in total. Some had broken down to the roots, so they had to cut them out.

I was doing ok, even went out yest, but I've now got infection in the lower molar sockets and feeling very Ill. All swollen up again and Been up thru night shivering. I've got ABs so will just have to wait for them to kick in. The top is fine at least.

oooggs · 07/04/2012 17:11

We had th original Picasso for 10 years and it was good but had to change when dc4 came and now have a C8 which we also like, especially the sliding doors!!
