How to carry 2 car seats

I just posted this on tamba but wondered if anyone here had any ideas. I have an out n about nipper (very kindly given by friends) and 2 assorted car seats (fisher price from ds and maxi cosi from another friend) which although wonderful cost wise is a bit difficult to carry. I'm looking for a cheap and easy solution to taking the twins out in their car seats. I found this googling www.amazon.com/Baby-Trend-Double-Stroller-Frame/dp/B000LEI82W. Has anyone ever seen this here (so I can find one to try out with our car seats? Or does anyone have any other solutions for taking 2 car seats around?

Why not just get them out of seats and put them in buggy?
It's not recommended that babies stay in car seat for long periods because it can cause problems.
Newborns are meant to be laid flat for a while, in buggy I mean.

The problem I have is if I go out by taxi e.g. to the hospital where the parking is really difficult then I can't leave the car seats in the car. Also we want to go abroad for my bil's wedding in feb and i'll need some way of taking car seats or else it will be very difficult for us to get around.

I think you are unlikely to find one hat will fit both your existing car seats. I had a Jane power twin for ours which carried two. There are other twin travel system on the market now too. They are pricey, but I loved my power twin, def made things easier, even for things like going to mother and toddler group, just to have something to sit them in once I got there.

yup think you will just need to buy a new car seat and buggy to go with that - something like the icandy will take maxi cosi and the zoom does. If you need to have a travel system I would look 2nd hand as once they are out of the infanct carrier ones then you can use a buggy with no car seats.

I have an icandy pear but dont use it as a travel system as only got it for the school run as its easier.

quite frankly, at that price, I'd just buy one and get it sent over from the states.

You can get car seat wheels. I can't find a link but it's like a luggage carrier that you pull behind you. I think they're only for certain seats though.
