Maternity leave starts 11 weeks before your due date, but if you know that the latest the hospital will let you go is 37 weeks, does that adjust your due date for maternity pay purposes?

Not as far as i know- they go by your given due date or they did in my case (work for NHS).

Hi, I also wondered this and enquired, but found that no it didn't. I was desperate to start maternity leave, and so used my holiday before the 28 weeks.
It is worth bearing in mind that if you do find you are unable to carry on you can be signed off work by your doctor earlier.
