Hello, I've um'd and ah'd about where to put this, decided on here, but may also put in pregnancy too- hope noone minds!

I've had a dating scan today, as had BFP! This will be DC3. Size of baby with very strong heartbeat measures at 6wks. Scan picked up two sacs though and the second was behnd the first so not totally visible. Couldn't trace a second heartbeat so sonographer feels no baby, but can't be 100% until probably 10wk scan.

Just wondered if anyone here had a similar experience!? (Because I'm impatient to see how this will turn out)!

I know my friend who had IVF twins saw two sacs but one heartbeat on first scan, and then a week later two heartbeats were found. Not sure how many weeks she was though, have a feeling second one was six weeks.

I was eight weeks when I had first scan with my twins and both were very (scarily!) visible!

Hope it turns out the way you want it to Smile.

I had this scenario at 6w4d - two sacs, one measuring fine and the other very small at the back. Two weeks later there were two very good heartbeats!

Fingers crossed that you get good news in a few weeks but I would prepare for there to be just the one. (We spent the entire two weeks saying 'when the baby/babies arrive' and I had prepared myself for just the one so the second one was a bonus.

Thank you ladies. Iam totally prepared for there to be one baby - two would blow me away I think!
