Twins starting school - any advice?

My girls start school in Sept. They seem pretty chilled about it, I am completely strung out you would think it was my first day They have been put in separate classes which I am pleased about as they are quite different in ability.

Any advice from mums that have been there?

My twin girls (about to go into Year 3) have been in different classes since Year 1, and it's been great for them - different friends, chance to 'be themselves', no sister to tell tales on them, much less comparing with eachother. Did their school ask your opinion about whether they were put in different classes or not?

It's a school policy - I knew about it when I signed up and it appealed to me. I think it will be good for them to make independent decisions, one always asks what her sister is having before making a choice. They also look similar and even more so in school uniform!
