Hi all
I ended up having a CS when my DS was born & I have already been told by the Consultant I will be having a CS with my twins. How many weeks were you when you received your CS date & how many weeks/days were you when they were born?
Thanks

It's unlikely they'll book you in before 38 - 39 weeks unless they have a good reason.

I was told I'd be having a cs at 38 wks but would not be booked in till 37 wks- I demanded a date at 34 wks so I could sort out childcare for dd1 and needed notice, did get a date but I had an emergency cs at 35 wks in the end.

I got booked at 36 weeks for a 38 week section and ended up that they had to squeeze me in as an 'extra' on a day when theatre was already fully because they were fully booked but wouldn't let me go over 38 weeks - why they don't prepare further ahead is beyond me...

I was booked in at 36 weeks for 38+1. Was such a relief to have a date and really helped me relax for those last two weeks. Have an older DS so it meant I could plan childcare for him. They wouldn't book me in before 36 weeks though as everything was going fine and the babies had plenty of room etc.
