Dating someone not the same colour as your dc?

I'm posting for a friend who is considering dating in the future.

She really wants to know what other people's experiences are of dating someone who is not the same colour as the dcs?

No idea but it has crossed my mind as a possible issue in the future too. Don't think it should matter

I don't think it should matter either but my friend is worried about telling a potential partner and also the looks she might get walking down the street

I wouldn't worry what looks people give in the street. Has she met anyone, if so what do the children think of him?
