Hello :-)

My 10 month old daughter is quite light skinned ( I am black and her dad is part black, part white and part chinese). When it gets hot (yeah right!! lol) what factor sun cream should I use on her??? Does it go....the darker you are the lower number sun cream you use? All the kiddies sun creams are like factor 30 or 40 but not sure dd's skin type requires such a high factor. Have searched on the net for sun cream for black skin but with no success :-(. Any ideas?

Not sure on this one.

Have a feeling that you would be advised by, say a chemist,to still use a high factor.

Although black skin has more protection against sunburn, but does it still have protection against skin cancer?

I'm sure someone will be along soon who knows more than me!
