Hello! We've been to Malaysia and back and been to the south coast for a holiday and back! DS1 starts school in September so that would be a big change, I guess. I wonder when I'm going to be able to find time to teach him chinese?

wyls · 19/08/2008 16:40

Hiya

We are a bit slow, arent we? I was talking to snowmum the other day and we are planning another meet in Sept, probably mid of Sept and probably at the same place.

I am doing fine, start my maternity leave on 1st Sept and am now 28 weeks. I am massive!!!

i am also suffering from headaches, almost everyday!!! any suggestions?

i think i will have to go and see the doc if it doesnt stop. I did suffer from it in the first 3 months and then it went away and now it's back, it's like i have a hangover every morning!!!

let me know if you are up for meeting up.

talking about teaching chinese, i was teaching my son how to say strawberry in chinese the other day and he ended up saying "silly belly". see door bare lay - silly belly hope u get it. ha ha

Hello everyone, yes we are rather slow of late. Guess it comes and goes. Anyway, another meet up is being hastily arranged by Wyls and me. Hope to see some new faces (and some old ones!)

Monday 15th Sept at Surrey Quays shopping centre at the Discovery Planet play centre. So same place as last time altho I plan to drive this time and not catch the tube. Will make life much easier. Felt like a coolie last time with DD1 in buggy, DD2 in sling and giant rucksack on my back!

I am fine, getting to grips to life with 2 DDs. DD2 now 9 months old (doesn't time fly!) and crawling backwards which is vastly amusing. DD1 got the "why's?" which is driving me potty.

Re the teaching chinese, am mulling over whether or not to send DD1 to chinese school in the future and if so, Cantonese or Mandarin? Decisions.....

lovecamping · 21/08/2008 21:28

i can make this meet up!!! dd2 starts pre-school the next day so its her last outing as such!!

are we meeting about 11am?

re: teaching chinese, i'm struggling with dd1 to even learn english at the moment - she's becoming quite the reluctant reader ... hmmm

11am will be fine for me.

yes, DS has also started the "why" thing!!!

Snowmum, cant believe DD2 is 9 months already, cant wait to see her again and DD1 of course.

Champagne is coming with her DS and DD so it should be fun.

I can even go to TK maxx on the way home ... i love TK maxx

Happy new year of the ox!

Hope everyone and their LO's are enjoying the snow.

Just to let everyone know, there's going to be another meet up on Weds 18th Feb. We're meeting in Beckton, at Cookie's Island playcentre in the Gallions Reach shopping centre. Planning on going to Yi Ban for dim sum afterwards. Not yet fixed a time but probably 10.30am or thereabouts.

Its half term so hope some of you can make it!

snowmum · 10/02/2009 13:09

Sorry, but plans have changed! Meet up next week is off. Will try to arrange something for Easter time.
