Healthy Start Card

Hi,
Ive recently got a healthy start card as am currently pregnant and not working.
I understand what I can spend it on but do I need to separate these items from my main big shop? Other wise how would the shop know how much to take off for eligible items? Thinking of going to Aldi.
Thanks

According to this, you have to pay separately.
Just put the items allowed at the front of shop on belt and barrier thing in between.

Yes pay separately. I put my milk and fruit on first and pay with the healthy start card then pay for the rest afterwards.
