My baby was born with blonde her with a ginger tone to it, it fell out and came back blonde then got ginger tones again his eyebrows are going darker and lashes are dark look black will his hair go dark to? I'm white and his dad is black so ginger hair came as a bit of a shock as I have blonde hair I do have ginger in the family! He's 9 weeks now, I love him the way he is just really Curious he changes everyday

Hi Op, congratulations on your beautiful baby.

I have a biracial child too. And have known a few biracial children with reddish hair. Seen many people in Jamaica with red(dish/blondish) hair.

There's a place on the south coast of Jamaica where a bunch of sailors washed up on shore after a shipwreck bet they thought they'd died and gone to heaven.

Both parents need the gene as red hair is a recessive gene and can only be if both parents have the gene. So your hubby has the ginger gene as well as you.
Blonde with red tones is strawberry blonde. It will get darker as he grows older
My kids dad was gingery when he was a kid and ended up jet black hair. My daughter was born with jet black hair and it changed to a mouse brown colour.
So whatever your son could end up with you won’t know until he’s a little older.
