I am in Tyseley, Bham about 20 mins from solihull, My ds's are 3.5 and 21 months. The eldest has just started school nursery in the afternoons but the little one is at home with me all day. I would love to meet up sometime, I have lived round here all my life but dont seem to know many people!

The boys love the wacky etc

I too am a new member.
I'm 35yrs of Carribean desent, DH same age Geordie desent .
Two boys 3yrs and 1 yr.
I work Mon, Weds & Thu and eldest son attends nursery school in the afternoon.
Could meet up on a Tues or Fri morn with both kids or hook up with youngest in the couple of hours eldest son is at school.
Live on the Hall Green/Shirley border.
Don't know of any local playgroups that operate on a Tues/Fri but attend one on Fri morning's in Mosley, very nice, do you drive?

It would be lovely to meet up with you, Fri's would be best for me as I work on Tuesday.I do drive so getting about is not a problem.I would be willing to come over to the playgroup to meet up or do Wacky Warehouse. I like going into Solihull town centre ,is that too far for you to travel.Any way just a few suggestions !

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner have been really busy with house improvements and haven't known when I'd be free.
I am going to endeavour to attend the playgroup tomorrow, it's at: St Agnes' Church Hall, Billesley Lane, Moseley, Birmingham, B13 9RA Opening Times from 10am to 12pm.
Is there a way we can talk in private so that we can arrange a meet?

Hi Treadmill Mom, to use the 'contact another talker' you have to allow email to be sent to you from Mumsnet. To do this you need to change this on your member details, they will then be able to forward my details. It is not difficult I have just done mine to use this facility(I did not know about this before)Hopefully get to chat soon

I've done what you suggested but I don't know whether I've done it correctly or not, see if you can contact me.

Message coming up saying that you do not allow email.Go into the members details,in the 1st box block all emails, this should say No.Scroll down to the last box which says email messages, C A T messages should say ALLOW.I think this is right? (will get DH to have a look tommorrow as I could be wrong)
