Tax Credit Help

I've just had a chat with a friend, and she was telling me about an extra payment she had from the tax credit, due to an underpayment during the past year. She said it was related to earning less than she estimated.
We earnt about £2000 less than i estimated (me and my partners p60's were not posted in time for the initial application) Does that mean we will also get some money back?

Many Thanks in advance :D

Ring them up and tell them you earned less: you almost certainly will get it back. It happened to me a few years ago and was very welcome indeed.

I have sent the renewal form off, just waiting now - her birthday is a month today, so if i do get something, then it'll all go on her birthday
