Anyone used PARCELMONKEY couriers?

I booked a collection with parcel monkey on the 25th, I absolutly needed it to be collected the next day and delivered today so I 'upgraded' to 24 hour courrier and specified collection 26th may, which is confirmed on my emails.

They did not turn up to collect the item and the lady who has the item called HDNL and they said that its being collected 27th and that parcel monkey sent it as '48' hour delivery so because of the bank holiday I won't get it till Tuesday!

So I paid for a 24 hour serice but its turned into 6 days!

I have now booked for DHL to collect the item this morning and deliver tomorrow as I CANNOT wait until Tuesday for it!

I have emailed PM and waiting for a reply but I would like a refund as they did not turn up to collect on the day they said they would and they also booked it 48 hour when I paid for 24!

Now I've read they don't respond to emails, they have no contact telephone number and refuse to refund through paypal!!

You are definitely entitled to a refund as they failed to provide the service you paid for. In this case time of delivery was of the essence as you paid extra for guaranteed next day.

Are you saying they have effectively disappeared? How did you pay for the service? If you used a credit card you should be able to get a refund from the card company as they clearly failed to provide the promised service. Gather together all evidence of the service booked and their failure to deliver it as the card company will request it.

Failing that, you should report them to your local Trading Standards office and see what they can do.

Never heard of Parcelmonkey, by the way.

I've used them twice, first collection was fine, second time they didn't turn up. The turned up the next day after I contacted them though and I still had the 24 hour service.

I probably wouldn't use them again though.

Is this the heritage grey? I love this one.

DHL has collected it but HDNL still turned up.

I have had no reply from them still, have started a paypal dispute.
