And if so, which box should it be in? I have looked carefully through the notes and cannot see it mentioned anywhere but surely it should be included?

It can go in other income, but it isn't counted for tax credit purposes so it isn't vitally important.

you dont have to include it.

No don't put it on, it's not counted as income for TC, and if you do put it in the 'other income' section they will count it. You just leave it out all together.

I have no idea why though - seems ludicrous to me. It's income into the household at the end of the day
