Dcs currently have passbook savings accounts with Abbey (Santander) but I want to move them. Does anyone have suggestions of which high street bank/building society has a good passbook account for children savings? I want somewhere that I can take dcs in with me to open accounts as they are old enough to get interested in saving. Does anywhere still do a welcome pack (I seem to remember loving my Britannia Building Society sticker in 1977!)? There won't be much money in these accounts so interest rate is not a huge factor.

Halifax do a good regular saver with 6% interest or an instane access with 1.05% interest, you get a good money box where you put coins in and it sorts them.

My dc love theirs .
