tipping workmen?

Do you give workmen a tip (no sniggering please), for instance, if they've fitted new bathroom, or done major electrical work that took a few days? And if you do how do you work out how much, and which one of them would you give it to if there are 3 of them , off and on?

no, I've never heard of tipping workmen!
I make them nice coffee and chocolate biscuits, though.

I don't tip workmen, but if they are working hard and the job is likely to be going on for sometime its always nice to offer them a bacon sandwich, also an excuse to treat yourself to one aswell.

Sometimes I give them a jar of my homemade jam or chutney. Not sure if they appreciate it though!
