How long to keep paperwork for?

Apologies if been done before but am sorting out my paperwork.

How long should I keep:

a) wage slips
b) bank statements
c) credit card bills?

I am employed so have P60's etc. Should I just keep stuff from the current year?

Thank you for reading my boring question!

Current and last years I keep.

Seven years is the broad rule. I keep mine for eight just to be on the safe side.
