Welsh Water direct debit..anyone?

Is it usual to pay direct debit to Welsh Water(Dwr Cymru) over 10 months? And when do they send the annual bill?

I don't know about Welsh Water but for our council tax that is paid over 10 months so not a totally odd thing to happen.

With our water we get bills in June and December (so sent early January/July I think).

yes they send an annual bill and i think you only pay 10 months
