Re-mortgaging Help from Money Experts Please

Hi my mortgage is coming up from renewal. Is there anyone who can advise whether 4% fixed rate for two years is a good deal? I'm reluctant to fix for any longer as I'm hoping to move, oh dam I suppose I could probably bring the mortgage with me.

Oh help!

Does anyone think mortgage rates will go up or down????

(I know that might take a bit of a crystal ball).

OK no expert AT ALL. But I think they are supposed to be going up. That sounds ok to me but for pete's sake don't just go with that!

One idea might be to go to the Telegraph site and do a search for comparative rates, they'll give the best offset/best fixed etc etc.

In fact the Telegraph has great money and mortgage advice.

Upandrunning, thanks for your reply. Have had a look at Telegraph (should have thought of that myself ).

here's a link

I have a meeting with my current lenders tomorrow, I'm thinking I'll go for a fixed.
