I know you get 3600 pounds allowance for a cash Isa but how or who would you go to for the other type of Isa the stocks and shares type. Wondered if its too risky and not worth the tax saving.

Really ignorant so any advice welcome

We are over 50 so limits are higher but we have each bought one on-line through HSBC. Fee is 1% as opposed to 4% through the bank.It was dead easy once you had an on-line account. I went for a medium risk product while DH went for a high risk one. We are tracking their progress. Since Nov. when they both started at 5055 (i think) my med risk one is worth 5148 today while DH's is worth 5210.Next year will get more high risk ones if this pattern is maintained. You can take out the profit whenever you like i think.
