New for old...Contents insurance ....Is it automatically included now

Set up contents insurance today with Churchill.

£40000 of cover including accidental damege, but it didn't mention anytihng about being a new for old policy and I just assumed that it was.

Dp is maoniung now cos i should have checked first.

Have scoured the site and can't see anytihng about it at all.

im with churchill and mine is new for old x

mines contents and accidental damage im insured for £30000

Oh good thanks. I thought seen as it didn't mention it directly that it must be standard.

Will read through the policy properly when it arrives and ring them if it is unclear.
