1 or 2 year bonds for my teenagers?

I need to make some decisions about re-investing all my children's inheritance money. I can't decide on a one or two year bond. WWYD?

Depends what you want to use it for, and when.

I have just reinvested some money mine inherited in a 5-year bond because my eldest is 12 and we intend to use it to fund them through university.
