Working tax credits overpayed me even though I told them about my circumstance change. They said they would give me a months roll on payment when I left my job and payed me by giro bt paid it into my bnk account too! I did not realise as I was being paid child tax and holiday pay due to me and did not see the mistake on my statement.(Wot a plank)Do I have any chance of not paying it back if I appeal even though its a long shot its worth a try!?
