i have done a home plan on saving money, only shopping that is needed, not using mobile, unpluged my house phone, took film's off cable bill, not using catolgue, give up smoking, not buying un needed things for my kids, walk instead of bus, NO taxi's.
anyone know if i have missed anything, help needed as my brain has just stopped working

Checking you're with cheapest utility providers?

Having a clear out and doing a boot fair?

Timer to get your washing machine to run over night?

Batch cooking?

Advertise big stuff for sale on supermarket notice boards - usually free so no outlay
Drop a brand on all your shopping - so if you are eating branded cereal get own brand etc
join freecycle, you might get a freeview box instead of cable.
swap stuff with friends instead of buying things eg swap toys for 2 weeks(do this a lot saves loads)
