ust been to the bank ,as i got ctc for my son ,and the bank has charged me £40 ,as did not have enough money in ,the dd was for £1.99 and £2.99 im so do you think i can get the £40 back !!

it's certainly worth trying. Start by sending them a letter.

If you know them and they know you I would go in and talk to them.
I did when it was just barmy theat they charged me over £30 for going over a pittance for the same day she was very shamefaced and took it off for me

There was a small article in the Times last week about some poor woman who was charged for going 1p overdrawn!

Twatwest once charged me for going £1.78 overdrawn once, they wouldn't refund. Bastards!
