or does anyone know of any helplines open today?
I'm hoping to contact a lawyer tomorrow but dont know when I will get an appointment.

If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated

Don't think there are any. You'd best ask here, and people with experience could possibly give their general view (assuming its not too private and confidential). Else you have to wait for a free consultation - however do try more than one, very often they have differing attitudes and views.
