Setting up a basic bank account online?

Me and my dh want to set up a most basic bank account there is.With no facilties on it.
We cannot get to the bank due to working.Can thi be done online.Iv taken a look but cannot seem to find anything.Can anyone help please?

If you mean no overdraft, apply for any bank account and ask them to remove the overdraft - I did it on mine (smile and alliance and leicester) and they were fine with it.

If you mean cheque book etc, just shred when they arrive if not needed.
