I have 2500 shares at £10 EACH....does this mean they are worth £25k?...what does the 25p per ordinary share mean?

The 25p is just the nominal value of the share and has little bearing on the actual value of the share

The actal value of the share depends on the price at which the shares are traded less the trading costs ...

If the shares are £10 each, then yes, they're worth £25k.

However, if they're worth 25p each, that's different. Where does it say the 25p per ordinary share? An ordinary share is a share that has all the ordinary rights of a share like voting etc.

are they traded? If not then stick a finger in the air - so many different variables.
