Bank Account For DS - ID Required

I was going to open another bank account for DS. I can't find his bith certificate. Do you think they would accept his passport as ID?

I would think a passport would be fine, since it proves who he is and his age.

Thanks for that. Looked at cost of new birth certificate. I'll get DH to hunt later, he has a knack for finding these sorts of things.
