How much should I expect to pay for making a will. Are there any discounts for OAP?

I think this depends what you want to put in your will. If it is straight forward I think £125 was what I was quoted by a local solicitor, but if you are interested in creating a trust or anything else complicated of that nature it would be more.

We paid £100 + VAT last year for wills for myself and DH. You can get will packs to do it yourself from WHSmith, Tesco etc

Hi, theres an organisation called will aid, which has a list of solicitors who will write your will in exchange for a donation to charity. I've not used it though 'cos my will was complicated!
