Mediation regarding contact - does it work?

Seeing a mediator today. Anyone out there got any experience of this? Does it work? How does it work?

Am I going to get even more pressure to give in to things that I don't want? Or will I feel supported by the process?

No advice I'm afraid but just wanted to wish you luck. I'm in the same boat, considering mediation because we can't agree. I hope you have a good outcome!

Thanks. Really anxious about this. Hopefully it will be OK and I'll feel less like I have no control over this siyuation.

Totally agree with babybarrister, particularly with regards to contacting Resolution for a mediator. I'm also a family lawyer and trained family mediator and my training course was very intensive however there is nothing to stop people with very little experience/training setting up as a mediator.

Good luck to you
