Am starting work for a client i met through work. as a PA, I wont be driving her in my car as she needs to be in a wheelchair-no mobility. but i will be pushing her around town etc
dp just piped up "do you need any insurance to do it?" and now Im panicking, i hadnt thought of insurance, do I need to get public liability or something before i can take her out?? help?

not sure if this is the right place to post but not sure where else to!

Im no expert in this but my (unqualified!) instinct would be that, as an employee, you dont need to have insurance for your own perfomance, as vicarious liability would apply.

see here

Maybe someone else will know better though

im a nanny and an employee and i need insurance.

im not legally required to have it (but would be stupid not to have it, and need it to be ofstead approved)

Im sure you could get some kind of carers insurance, she should have liability insurance as an employer though, in case you had an accident whilst doing your job.
