Hi, we rent our a property and have just discovered that we need to protect the deposit under the TDS scheme. Does anyone know how I do this just for 1 property and approx. how much it will cost. Have looked on the TDS website but it seems to focus more on landlords who have multiple properties.
Thanks

Hi Flowertop, I used to rent out my first flat (when I first got together with dh) but I know the rules are v different now.

This is a good website: Landlord Advice and may be able to answer your question.

The Deposit Protection Service here is free and is very efficient in my experience.
